Human Resources Generalist

Duties

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to handle a wide variety of duties and responsibilities. This position requires a dedicated, extremely detail-oriented and confidential individual who has the ability to anticipate needs, multi-task, and bring projects to successful completion. This person must be able to work as part of a team as well as individually.
  • Assist in recruiting and hiring of employees
  • Assisting with department structures, policies, procedures and planning
  • Provide general HR support for employees
  • Employment regulatory compliance
  • Employee orientation and training
  • Backup or payroll processing
  • Assists in benefit administration and annual open enrollment communication

Qualifications

4 year college degree with an emphasis in Human Resources or related field. 3 - 5 years experience as a Human Resources Generalist. Strong sense of judgment and confidentiality. High level of organization and extreme attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Advanced software skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Sr. Operations Engineer

Duties

Individual will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, production and completions for West Texas Business Unit. Candidate will also advise /mentor junior engineers in various operational business unit.

Qualifications

Must have BS in Engineering (Petroleum Engineering preferred) with 7 – 9 years of industry operations experience. Must be familiar with all forms of artificial lift with emphasis on rod pump design and optimization, facility design and operation. Horizontal well completion operations including fracturing, coil tubing prep and drill out, wireline operations, workover rig operations (both horizontal and vertical wells), well control operations including snubbing units. Should be familiar with various Texas regulatory agencies and strong commitment to health, safety and the environment.

Operations Geologist

Duties

Individual will be responsible for the following with an emphasis of the role to be on well planning and integration in the office, and not the execution of well plans as a well site geologist at the rig site.
  • Provide geologic support to project staff
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary team in planning horizontal well pads
  • Create drilling prognoses for horizontal wells
  • Work with subsurface and drilling teams to create well planning documents
  • Provide effective communication between subsurface and drilling teams
  • Monitor GeoSteering of horizontal wells
  • Monitor mud loggers and MWD loggers
  • Monitor pilot hole logging operations
  • Support/Lead the subsurface delivery of wells, monitoring real-time drilling
  • information, integrating data with geomodels to advise Geology and Drilling teams on risk and uncertainty and inform operational decisions
  • Supervise Wellsite Geologists for the delivery of well objectives
  • Work with the asset and operational teams to develop viable and efficient drilling
  • programs on the company's core assets and to assist in the drilling process
  • Advise Geology Manager on geological aspects of the operating assets
  • Executing data acquisition plans and managing data and samples analysis plan
  • Selecting vendors and coordinating their work
  • Providing geological support during drilling operations
  • Maintain excellent communication among team members to ensure the most cost-effective decisions are made during drilling
  • Integrate, evaluate and interpret data as it flows from the rig to understand stratigraphic position during landing and the lateral section
  • Capture and share lessons and good practices learned from prior experience

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience and a BS degree in Geology.  Must have the ability to concentrate on and accurately complete given tasks on a timely basis.  Individual must be highly motivated and work well under the stress of deadlines.
